I can not answer this question fully because I can not see your invoice. But what i can say that if this was your first bill from Koodo then that means that you have proration on it. We calculate a prorated amount using your billing cycle date and the day that you activated. Wheat we did (for example lets say your on the $20 per month plan) we will take the $20 and divide it by 30 (how many days are in your billing cycle) and the multiple it by how many days that you had the service. So your first invoice always has a month plus a little bit more than that.

Had a quick question, I haven't had my koodo phone for long, my first billing period hasn't even ended yet, but I have changed my plan...now, the question is how soon can I use the new plan without having it over charge?
and also, how does koodo calculate your bill before the billing period ends?
because I got my first bill after a week or so of having the phone.

Why you recieved an invocie before having your phone for a month is because when you actiavte your phone the computer automatically picks a billing cycle date...lets say you activate on the 1st and your billing cycle closes on the 10th..because it is the end of your cycle on the 10th the cumputer automatically sends out your invoice... :) koodo!
