Koodo - recording your own ringtone? | Koodo Mobile | Forum

Hi,
I just got a new Koodo phone... read up on customer service and how bad it was but i've never needed to use it before so it wasn't my biggest concern. Was on virgin mobile pay as you go previously but dropped my phone in the toilet and instead of buying a replacement battery they make you buy a whole new phone. That was one feature i really liked about Koodo, they let you buy a new battery. Plus it was a bit cheaper to go with Koodo for what i wanted in a plan/phone tab option. I phoned them just to see how thier customer service is - wanted to say so far its great. Got through in about 1.5 seconds and they were able to answer all my questions... we'll see how it goes lol.

Anyway i have a question about ringtones. I've downloaded a couple by looking them up/listening to them on the Telus website then finding them on my phone. Really wasn't that hard... just make sure you get the name right. Most of them that are on Telus are on Koodo as well. (Take a look at the Gollum one... so awesome: http://rtimstore.telusmobility.....ery=gollum) haha... he wants 'The Ring' lmao...

I was wondering if there is any way of setting a voice recording you had on your phone as a ringtone... or do you have to download and pay for one in order to get something good? If you could use something you recorded your self that would be awesome...
