Peter’s Date Countdown Plugin for WordPress Version 2.0.0 -August 25, 2008: Finally combined the widget and non-widget versions of this plugin into one version.

Peter’s Date Countdown Plugin for WordPress Version 1.93 -July 29, 2007: Added some fine-grained translation settings, another option for displaying items that have arrived in the JavaScript countdown, and some compatibility for quotes and apostrophes in text fields.

Also tweaked the JavaScript countdown so that it can be customized to say “x more sleeps/days/winks” just like the normal countdown.

Peter’s Date Countdown Plugin for WordPress Version 1.8 -February 3, 2007: There’s now a JavaScript real-time countdown option (I tweaked a script from this guy). See the example below for the JavaScript option. In the original static countdown, there’s also a new option to show the amount of time since an event has occurred. So that’s cool, right?
