I would like to have a link displayed on a page that will allow a user to return to his/her redirect page. I tried this:
This doesn't seem to work. The link directs you to "http://www.mysite.com/[variable]username[/variable]" instead of the user's page. How can I make this link add the username to the URL?
I know basic HTML. Please help.

That logic won't work for a manually created link. However, it will work as an automatic redirect out of the box. You can use something like the rul_register() function as documented here under the header 'Custom "My Portal" link':

Can someone explain clearly how to create a buttin which links to the page which the user has logged in to.
I have all redirects working perfectly with this great plugin but have no clue how to create the button for navigation to personal page AFTER login.
Peter, I know you say to look at "my portal link" but that makes no sense tom me, im sorry but can someone make this very clear.

Thank you very much Peter, this helped a lot.
I have it working now ,, I have also removed the section which displays "register" if the user is not logged in so the link only appears once a person has logged in. :)
only think is,lol I would rather have this function related to one of my theme buttons, any ideas? or
How can I style the meta widget link?
