I am at localgpsdeals.com. I have three (3) types of users: Admin, Shopper & Merchant.

Admin login and logout redirects work perfectly!

Merchant login works perfectly.

Shopper login defaults to Home rather than http://www.localgpsdeals.com/groups

Both Merchant and Shopper logouts default to http://www.localgpsdeals.com/w.....-login.php, each appended with a redirect that I have not given them.

I changed the value in your .php file from 10 to 5. No dice.

Ideas?

Are you using some other plugin that might handle login redirects too? If so, you might have to disable the redirect there, or set it to wplogin_redirect_control.php as explained here:
