I purchased the Magic Jack yesterday, setup was easy, and local calls work fine. Now my question: When my mother in Germany calls me on my MJ, is it the same as if she would call a landline here in the US? The reason we bought the MJ was her not having to call my cell phone (expensive). Also, are incoming overseas calls free for me?

You should not be charged for receiving overseas calls and yes, to international callers it should behave as though they're calling a US landline.
